Welcome
| OHMapping and its companion blog, OHNetwork,
provide community resources for the story of headwaters.
OHMapping
will tell stories about and provide access to maps of Ontario’s
headwaters, starting with 17 watersheds on the western half of the
Oak Ridges Moraine. Some stories will be about headwaters and their
importance, partnerships, how to use the maps, references &
disclaimers, and other issues.
OHNetwork
is for stories from the community – for you
to share your thoughts about a favourite headwater area or hike,
or damage being done. Post a photo or take a snapshot of one of
the maps and send us comments. The Ontario Headwaters Institute
cannot promise to be a steward of all headwater areas, but we offer
OHNetwork to build a community of like-minded stewards.
